Senior Devops (AWS, CloudFormation)

Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS expertise to design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and data pipelines. This role is heavily focused on automation, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD, with a strong emphasis on AWS-native services and CloudFormation.

You will work closely with engineering and client teams to build reliable systems, particularly in contact center environments leveraging AWS Connect, ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS-based infrastructure using CloudFormation (IaC)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions
• Deploy and operate data ingestion and data consumption pipelines
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools (ECS/Kubernetes preferred)
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability
• Support and optimize AWS Connect-based contact center solutions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and costs
• Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and best practices
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
• Communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders, explaining technical decisions and trade-offs

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (core services + architecture patterns) 
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Experience working with containers (Docker) and orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Experience building or operating data pipelines (ingest + consumption)
• Strong understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly in client-facing scenarios

Nice to Have

• AWS Certifications (Associate or Professional preferred) 
• Experience with AWS Connect or contact center platforms
• Experience in contact center industry
• Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, etc.)
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.)
• English proficiency (desirable but not mandatory)
